About
It's right, or it isn't finished
Qobban makes architectural metalwork for Bahrain. The name means a steelyard balance. The mark is a spirit level. Both say the same thing.

The idea
Precision made visible
Metalwork in this market is usually sold on price and a photograph. What decides whether it lasts — the alloy, the coating system, the measurement, the fixing — is rarely written down, and almost never explained.
We built Qobban around the opposite habit. Measure before you make. Specify before you price. Level before you leave. Then put all of it in writing, so the client can hold us to it.
That's not a marketing position. It's the only way to make work that survives Bahraini summers and coastal air for longer than the warranty.
What we hold to
Four commitments
Measure first
No project is fabricated from a phone measurement. Site measurement is standard and never billed separately.
Specify in writing
Material grade, coating system, hardware, warranty and lead time on every quote. Comparable line by line.
Say the inconvenient thing
If a repair isn't worth it, if a design won't build, if a cheaper option suits you better — we'll tell you.
Leave it clean
Surfaces protected, alignment verified, site cleared, handover photographed. Every time.
The name
قبان
A qobban is a steelyard balance — the traditional weighing instrument used across the Gulf and wider region. It works on a simple principle: a known measure against an unknown one, until the two sit level.
Weighing means judgement. It means accuracy you can verify rather than take on trust. That's why the logo is a letter Q built as a frame with a spirit level set inside it — the same idea, drawn twice.
