Shade that makes the space usable

Fixed, louvred and retractable structures in aluminium and steel — sized to the sun path, not just to the patio.

What we build

Structure types

01

Fixed Roof

Solid or slatted panel roof. Most shade, lowest cost, no moving parts to service.

02

Louvred

Rotating blades — control sun angle through the day, close for rain. Manual or motorised.

03

Retractable

Fabric or folding roof over a fixed frame. Full sky when you want it.

04

Attached / Freestanding

Wall-mounted against the villa, or four-post over a pool or garden zone.

01 / Climate

Built for a Bahraini summer

A pergola in this climate has three jobs: block direct sun, survive salt air, and not become an oven underneath. Powder-coated aluminium handles the first two — it doesn't rust, and it holds a coating far longer than untreated steel near the coast.

The third is design, not material. Blade depth, spacing and orientation decide how much heat sits under the roof. We work it against the sun path for your specific orientation rather than fitting a standard section and hoping.

02 / Design fit · 03 / Reliability

Decide the use before the structure

Dining, lounge seating, pool shade and car cover all want different heights, spans and drainage. Choosing the structure first is the most common and most expensive mistake in this category.

Every quote names the alloy and section sizes, the coating system, the drainage method, wind-load assumption, and the warranty period. Water has to go somewhere — integrated post drainage is specified, not improvised on site.

Where a structure is fixed to the building, we confirm the substrate can carry it before we quote. Some can't.

04 / Installation

Common questions

It depends on size, whether it's attached to the building, and your development's rules. Pergolas are generally permitted subject to conditions. We'll flag what your case likely needs — confirm with your municipality or development office before fabrication.

Aluminium for almost every outdoor shade structure here — it doesn't rust and it's lighter for long spans. Steel makes sense for very wide spans or where a heavier visual profile is wanted, but it needs a more serious coating regime.

On-site installation is usually short — most of the lead time is fabrication and coating. Motorised louvre systems add commissioning. Your written scope gives a committed date range, not a guess.
